LUMP Benefit 2023

Join us also this Friday, December 1st, 6-10pm for a LUMP BENEFIT !!!  Come get first dibs on affordable artwork by artists in the Lump sphere both locally and beyond.  There will be food, drinks and music all evening.  Artwork that remains unsold will stay up on Saturday & Sunday, 1-5pm and will continue to be available for purchase.  We look forward to seeing you there.  Thank you in advance for your support.

“Bill Thelen here. I just wanted to let y’all know I’ve signed on to direct Lump for the year 2024 in hopes to fully realize Lump as a volunteer-based, artist-run space into the future. Lump has pretty much been this all along since our past directors (Kelly, April and George) were never paid a living wage. Right now it costs around $2,000 a month to keep Lump open. We’ve written multiple grants, but we are also looking for community support. On December 1st, we will have a fundraising benefit. Artists and local businesses have generously donated work, objects and goods to help keep us running. Since a large part of our audience is fellow artists we decided to keep everything very affordable for the benefit. Everything is priced at $25, $50 and $100 to ensure artists were also given the option to buy (times are tough, especially for artists) and to give a percentage to Lump and keep some for themselves. It’s going to be a great night! Everything is cash and carry, so help us clear the walls! We will be open from 6-10pm with performances starting at 8. We look forward to seeing you and thank you all for supporting us over the past 27 years!!”
