Absolutely Stable – Joyce Rudinsky

Absolutely Stable

December 2005

Absolutely Stable is an electronic media installation and performance. Absolutely Stable is an experiential space that alters viewer attention and distraction to investigate the pleasure associated with technology induced perceptual shifts. The installation creates a space that is shaped my layers of fragmented information.

Absolutely Stable includes two video projections, twenty silk-screened Plexiglas screens, and surround sound. Viewer movement through the use of motion sensors controls video play.

Absolutely Stable included a collaborative performance by the ensemble Immediate Theater.
