Neill Prewitt grew up in Raleigh and his first solo show was at Lump in 2011. He’s returning with a solo performance of his 2024 rock opera “Emotional Real Estate,” about a new dad struggling to do the best for his kid in an overpriced housing market. Priced out of the middle-class lifestyle he was raised in and expects to be able to provide, Dad is tempted to mobilize behind his grievances, but emerges with some self-awareness to pass on. Neill recently became a dad, so this rock opera is about 20 minutes long.
